Tourism overload
On Saturday our whole samford group went on an excursion. I drive people nuts on the bus rides begging for them to tell me stories. First we toured a giant part castle part monastery called El Escorial. We toured for two hours and only saw 3% of it. So gigantic. Observations
Siestas are still a very real thing in Spain. Most stores are closed & the metro is packed with people going home. Funny.
The metro in the morning is completely quiet. No one talks at all. Kinda creepy.
Spanish children live with their parents and are financially supported by them into their late 20s. (do you like how I snuck that in there dad?)

Marathon
